Helen has worked with Great Ocean Adventure Tours for the last ten years. Her background in secondary teaching and the recreation industry provided her with the necessary experience and skills required to lead groups.

Helen has been riding for over 32 years!  She competed as a road cyclist and triathlete before moving into the mountain bike scene. She has done the Hawaii Ironman, some crazy race from Perth to Sydney via Melbourne in 20 odd days and lots of other stuff with hills, her poison.

 

She is a total sicko, preferring to ride the bush tracks instead of the busy bitumen roads.  Living adjacent to the Otway's National Park makes this easy!  Helen travels overseas every year to sample new and exciting mountain bike single track, keeping up to date with riding techniques and instruction.

 

A great instructor. I mean yeah she will smash you, and she will love it.
